Over the past few years, Massachusetts-based Ben Gundersheimer -- best known to the under-6 set as Mister G, has released a number of albums partially or even predominantly in Spanish, and he shows no sign of stopping that trend.  He's just released Los Animales (the album title's a pretty good clue as to the album's theme and primary language) and to celebrate, the album's first video for its title track, world-premiered here!

Mister G teams up with the same folks who created the animated video for "Cocodrilo" -- director Leo Antolini and animator Andrea Cingolani.  This one's every bit as charming as that one, a rainbow of animals.  Non bastante!   More, please!

The private eye (private "E"?") who stars in Mister G's latest video has a bit of an attitude.  But since he's "The Bossy E," and he even has an entire album named after him (out June 24), I suppose he's entitled to his... entitlement.  With the appealingly animated video from Leandro Antolini and Andrea Cingolani, the surf-rock tune conveys just one point -- how the addition of "e" at the end of a word can change its sound.  (I'm also amused by how Mister G calls that "e" "bossy" while The Bazillions call it "silent."  Perhaps there's some Sheryl Sandberg subtext there?)

Bilingualism for kids is so  2011, right?  It's all about design literacy, amiright?

Wait.  Are you telling me that bilingualism is still in for kids?  But design literacy is too, I swear.

Thank goodness for Mister G, who lets both types of literacy have their day with his new video for "Cocodrilo."  The fun design is courtesy of director Leo Antolini and animator Andrea Cingolani.  Kinetic bilingual typography for the win!
